Unknown Source: Uni-Kar-i is one of the few uni who seem to actually care about all the different species that are much smaller than her. The research she preforms seems to be mainly based around mutation of other species to look almost like small forms of UNI. Whether this is for genetic modification of other UNI's or proves UNI's are made in a lab is unknown.

All subjects of her research are hand picked by her alone for she doesn't trust other UNI's to get specific enough subjects. While her research is frowned upon by other UNI's the planets she gathers her subjects from don't mind sacrificing a few hundred for protection.
